Gained knowledge in IPTV infrastructure, distributed applications, and working to become proficient in diagnosing problems that can arise in such large-scale systems. Provided early on critiques of new technologies being deployed in Set-top boxes across the world.

Worked with the Solutions team designing custom Community Server communities, social networks and other Web 2.0 apps. Some projects included a Widget/Gadget community about hip-hop culture, the official Windows Vista Blog, a nursing industry community and many others. Lots of hands on work with large clients such as EA Games & Microsoft Heavy UI experience including asynchronous javascript and a broad range of browser support.

Served as one of the first developers for this startup hybrid Search Engine Optimization & Web Development firm. Helped design two content management system products, both with an emphasis on search optimization including extra tools to assist with search engine marketing. Also designed an extensible e-commerce system product with the same SEO emphasis. Helped numerous clients with on their online presense needs, including serving as a technical adviser for the SEO team.
