Review and construct three year forecast including budgets. Provide monthly management accounts for CEL and associates to CEL management. Provide monthly management accounts of CEL and associates to Board Members highlighting variances against budgets. Preparation of annual statutory accounts and taxation returns of associates. Lodge relevant GST and other relevant returns to the relevant PNG statutory bodies. Provide Board submissions on a quarterly basis with attendance at board meetings and taking minutes of the meetings. Hired initially as Financial Controller, recognised scale of required changes (significant expansion and protection of assets) dictated additional resources required. Persuaded board to promote to Chief Financial Officer, and recruit a new Financial Controller to assist in restructure. A new business model was created by dividing the transport operations between interstate transport and heavy haulage as expansions of business in WA and NSW due to acquisitions.
