I was born, raised, and studied in a small town known for its prestigious engineering college and the holiness of the Ganges passing through the city.After completing my civil engineering course I started my career with an architectural & structural engineering firm as a Trainee Engineer at BHEL's industrial complex in my hometown. And from there it has been an exciting journey of learning and delivering work in the distinct roles of a design engineer, a fabrication shop-floor engineer, a construction manager, sales & marketing role, procurement & contracting, international business development to heading businesses, CEO and then boot-strapping an enterprise, and be a director there.Studies continued with completing my PGDBA from Symbiosis Pune and several other offline & online management courses and certificates. I am currently working as Sr Vice President with a reputed structural steel engineering & fabrication / PEB firm.I acquired about 25 years of rich experience; and an excellent track record of achievements with reputed PEB, LGSF & Structural steel companies like Interarch building products, Tiger Steel Engineering, JSW Severfield, Reliance Industries Ltd, TATA Bluescope Steel etcI excelled in leadership roles, deep into strategy formulation and implementation, Sales & Marketing, Business operations viz supply chain, engineering, manufacturing and construction, Team building and Talent management, strategic financial planning, stakeholder & partnership management, compliance & risk controls and product innovation. I have been responsible for P & L and managed businesses with large volumes.Digital transformation of businesses has been close to my heart. I have invested myself greatly in it. I have bought and upgraded machines on the shop floor such that they could operate on data and expanded IT reach up to both operational ends of the business; vendors & customers. I have implemented ERP, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Integrated engineering with supply-chain using Trimble products, and managed change by fostering digital culture in the businesses.
