Over 19 years of experience in development advisory - assisting governments, multilateral organisations, industry bodies, and the private sector in designing and implementing programmes for promotion of infrastructure, MSMEs, skills, agribusiness, livelihoods, and investments. Have worked with multilateral organisations like UNIDO, national resource institutions like EDII, and various other advisory organisations. In the past 5 years, Grant Thornton’s public sector advisory, under my leadership, has focussed on strategic and programmatic alignment with federal and certain state governments’ priorities including, Skill Development, Make in India, Doubling of Farmers Income, Smart Infrastructure, and outcome-based results management, among others. Today, the Firm is one of the preferred partners of multilateral development agencies and governments on these themes. Have successfully incubated and groomed new business verticals on sports advisory, procurement and results management. Some key engagements on these themes are listed below: • Sports Advisory - Programme Management Unit to support Government of Odisha in hosting Men’s Hockey World Cup, Bhubaneswar, 2018; Sports Infrastructure Development in Punjab, Vision Document and Khelo India initiative of Government of Kerala.• Procurement and bids management: Supporting National Mission for Cleaning Ganga, which has a procurement budget of INR 20,000 crore• Results management: Developing strategic tools and transferring best practices to the DMEO at NITI Aayog; Department of Planning and Convergence – Government of Odisha.
