Controller for the Management Company of seven (7) Taverns with Restricted Gaming Licenses (15 Video Poker Machines), with approximate revenues of $20 million. Responsibilities include: the generation of eight (8) sets of Financial Statements including, Departmental Income Statements, Balance Sheets and Cash Flow Statements, as well as a consolidation of the above. Daily responsibilities include the Supervision of a staff of three (3), overseeing: cash management, daily revenue reporting, accounts payable, gaming revenue, account reconciliations and various trend analyses. Work closely with the Operations Department to insure adherence to established policies, procedures, and individual Location cost containment. Generate various compliance reports and ratio analysis for the Lending Institutions relating to loan covenants.

Established an LLC in order to purchase a 15 Machine Video Poker Bar. Handled the pre-opening application process and filings with the State and County entities. Designed interior remodel with Architect and directed the tenant improvement process to ensure cost containment and a timely opening of the 6,000 square foot building. Upon completion handled all daily operations and administrative duties associated with a Restricted Gaming Operation. These duties included: Hiring, scheduling, training, motivating and firing of employees, daily revenue audit, banking, maintenance of the facility, marketing, promotional events, purchasing and receiving of product and supplies.

As Controller, was responsible for establishing, implementing and maintaining accounting functions, systems and controls at Big Dog's Hospitality Group, a management company for five (5) restaurant/casinos, with annual revenues in excess of $16 Million. Responsible for the preparation and consolidation of monthly financial statements for the five (5) locations as well as the Management Company. Daily responsibilities included: Supervision of Accounts Payable, Payroll, Revenue Audit, Cash Management, Cost Controls and preparation of Federal, State and Local Taxes. As the Director of Gaming and Development, responsible for maximizing the Gaming Revenue for four (4) non-restricted and three (3) restricted Gaming Operations. Trend analysis, marketing concepts, established and implemented procedures in order to train employees to ensure adherence to State Gaming procedures. Worked closely with the slot route operator in order to maximize revenues through marketing efforts, the quality of product offered and service afforded to the gaming customers. Acted as a liaison with the Nevada State Gaming Control Board and other governing entities for routine audits of the four (4) non-restricted locations. Instrumental in systems design, and layout for three (3) property expansions/renovations. Acted as the Owners Representative with the Architect and General Contractor to ensure the use of appropriate materials, workmanship, timeliness and proper payment. Responsible for the bidding and procurement of furniture, fixtures, equipment and other opening/operating necessities.

Designed and implemented systems and controls in the areas of: Receiving, Storage, Purchasing and Food and Beverage audit for a 315 room Hotel/Casino. Completed the design and installation of the Sierra 6000 Point of Sale system. Extensively trained Management, Supervisors, Food Servers, and Audit Clerks in the operation, maintenance and audit procedures of the Point of Sale system.

Established and maintained policies and procedures in the areas of Receiving, Storage, Issuing and Revenue Control for the Food and Beverage Department with revenues in excess of $6 Million in a 705 room Casino/Hotel. Daily functions included: Supervision of Food and Beverage Audit Clerks, Food Cashiers, Receiving Clerks, maintaining Point of Sale system, monitoring expenses and approving all Food & Beverage invoices. Additional responsibilities included: Sales trend analysis, budgeting, review of entertainment contracts, application and payment of licenses, permits and taxes.

Manager of a 186 seat restaurant with revenues in excess of $2.4 Million in 565 room Hotel/Casino. Responsible for hiring, firing, scheduling, maintaining employee records, employee relations, training, directing and motivating employees, sales forecasting, and department budgeting. Additionally, monitoring the operation on a daily basis for cost controls, service standards and food quality.
