About Kim Williams

I spend every free moment I have thinking about interiors, how the world is changing and what that means for how we live and work. My vision is for interior design to have a positive impact on the lives of clients, at home and work, by influencing their physical and emotional health; giving them the freedom to live their best possible life. My projects will always give something fresh and unique to clients while ensuring longevity from an ROI perspective without overcapitalising on the investment. Our work should always increase the value of client’s properties financially and through the emotional wellbeing, productivity, teamwork, and synergy within families and workspaces. Blending the creative, behavioural and design strategies with my blueprint, called the Pure Design Innovation ID, is a unique process of extracting what people need emotionally and physically from each residential or commercial project. From a property development perspective creating a positioning for the “product” in the market has proven invaluable. This includes considering what people are looking for; how do we give them better than what they are seeking; understanding and defining the target market; deciding on the objectives; budgetary constraints; and how we outsell other developers in the market. This process takes a lot of thinking and research. I take time to really connect and engage with each residential and commercial project and the people involved. Considering every element in detail and its execution is fundamental to the design as a whole.⁠ The type of finishing materials you are going to use and the details they are made into should enhance the experience of the building. My experience in the corporate world (21 years) and my journey as an entrepreneur is invaluable to my work as an interior designer, which allows me to combine business, marketing, interior design and behaviour skills which I believe gives me an edge over other designers. “The one thing I know about design is that it is forever changing and growing with us and for us.
