Founder and Director of the Salisbury Rowing Camp for 30 boys each June at the Salisbury School.

(Founded by Paul Newman, camp in Ashford, CT provides a free traditional camp program for kids facing life-threatening illnesses. Campers are welcomed back for succeeding summers.) After volunteering in summer of 2009, hired to lead and develop a final program, Hero’s Journey, for children 15-18 who had progressed through camp. Developed program, set up camp and meals, organized and led daily activities, kept campers and staff on task, and helped address any issues with campers or staff. Focus on enhancing confidence, resilience and self-awareness of the campers.

Proud member of top Ivy team which required commitment, rigorous training and teamwork. Team was best in the Ivy League and second in the nation two of my four years. Top individual awards include Silver in Varsity Four at IRA national championships in 2011, stroked Open Four to 4th at nationals in 2011, Silver and Ivy champion in 3rd Varsity eight at Eastern Sprints in 2010 and stroked 2nd Freshman 8 to Gold and Ivy championship at Eastern Sprints, 2009.
