I was in charge of the MRO Purchasing for the Doniphan, MO factory and the Mobile, AL factory until it was closed down. I negotiated contracts with vendors and discussed pricing and lead times in order to secure the best possible deals. I planned purchases with overseas vendors and planned out lead times of up to 3 months or longer. I ensure we had enough stock to cover the long lead times. I monitored all factory inventory and ensured inventory levels remained above Min/Max levels.

I was in charge of monitoring all orders that came out to the production floor and ensuring that all information was accurate on the order.I was responsible for working with customer service and production to coordinate job planning to avoid overscheduling work for the factory.

On any given day I would be in charge of the store along with all 20-30 employees on site at the time. I would support store operations and plan out employee lunches/breaks to ensure the store ran efficiently at all times. I was able to support multiple areas of the store at any given time and ensure efficient store operation.I supported the store manager in planning and placing inventory orders to ensure the store always had plenty of stock.
