While working at Westwood I was able to gain valuable experience working with top industry professionals. I was a member of the equity research team, helping determine if companies were suitable investments for portfolios. During my time at Westwood, I prepared two stock pitches and built models, determining the underlying value of the firms, for the Investment team. I also researched emerging technologies and prepared a report that analyzed their impact on different sectors as well as how they would affect industry leaders. I was also able to gain an understanding of how a shifting global landscape and changing economic trends impact the stock market.

While I was at Promus Capital I was given the opportunity to learn about financial markets from industry experts. I gained an understanding of asset allocation and the importance of having a diversified portfolio. During my time at Promus I computed company and stock valuations and participated in a live private equity deal. I also had exposure to alternative asset classes such as Real Estate, Hedge Funds, Private Equity and Venture Capital.
