I have over 16 years of experience working in pre and post-press environments. Most recently, I was employed as Graphics Prepress technician at Belmark, where I was responsible for making PDF files and illustrator files ready for the digital presses as well as communicating with Customers on any issues that arise. I take great pride in my ability to communicate and collaborate with others to ensure that customer and quality standards are met for each job. My role as a Graphic Prepress Technician allowed me to exercise good judgement and decision making based on SOP’s and the various formats and layer builds of customer files. Prior to my prepress Technician role, I worked as an Imaging technician at OEC graphics where I used Adobe illustrator to color separate and then layout film files for liquid polymer. Leading up to my imaging technician role I worked in the liquid photopolymer department at OEC graphics which helped in my imaging technician role. I earned my technical degree in the Package and Label Prepress program at Fox Valley Technical college which taught me several facets of the printing and prepress industries. If you catch me outside of work, I am usually on my mountain bike or spending time as an amateur meat smoking hobbyist.
