I have been working at Tata Steel for nearly 7 years now, my role is goods in and also heavily involved with the dispatch team. My role in goods in is to receive and unload deliveries using overhead and forklift. Whilst this is a big part of the role I also to prepare and load the coils and material onto the machines and to make sure the lines run smoothly and efficiently, making sure the steel is of the right gauge and material etc for the job is vital so being thorough is an integral part as well as checking the quality of the steel.Since being at tata steel I have been entrusted in the role as unit trainer for goods in, so making sure to lead by example I hold my self to high standards in which I hold the colleagues I have trained to be also.I am enthusiastic, hard working individual and a dedicated person who has a positive attitude, good judgment and common sense. I work well as a team player as well as on my own, I am very well organized and I perform effectively under pressure. I have a high attention to detail and have the ability to work to deadlines. I am trustworthy and possess excellent communication skills. I enjoy learning new skills and challenging myself on a daily basis.
