I am a graduate of Mechanical Engineering from Stellenbosch University. I have demonstrated strong academic performance throughout my education, achieving awards and merit certificates for Math, Accounting, and overall academic achievements from 2015 to 2021.In high school at Maritzburg College, I was involved in various sports and committees including rugby, cricket, chess, and served as an academic mentor. This allowed me to develop teamwork, leadership, and communication skills.During school holidays from 2015-2019, I gained work experience in the engineering and auditing fields. As a vacation student at Kantey & Templer in Pietermaritzburg and Durban, I was able to get exposure to engineering projects and shadow professional engineers in civil, electrical, mechanical and architectural disciplines. I also spent time in 2018 auditing with the Auditor General, further building my professional skills.In my university years, I continued vacation work with Kantey & Templer in Cape Town in 2021-2023. Through these experiences, I've developed technical skills in the engineering industry as well as important soft skills like communication, teamwork, and independence.Overall, I have a strong educational background paired with relevant work experiences in the engineering field. My achievements, participation in extracurriculars, and vacation work have allowed me to build a well-rounded skillset in preparation for a career as a Mechanical Engineer.
