Manage enterprise housing, dining, and related systems servicing auxiliary operations on multiple campuses. Work with functional unit leadership through planning, implementation, operation, and retirement of systems to ensure that business needs are consistently met. Resolve student conduct cases in a manner that balances student learning, protects the University community, and prevents recidivism. Ensure legally-sound implementation of conduct procedures for a team of center hearing officers.Provide appropriate direction to undergraduate and/or graduate staff members in a 3500-bed residence hall area when on-duty.Establish appropriate emergency procedures and safety training for residence hall staff. Develop hall policies and provide input on departmental procedures to ensure staff behavior is consistent with professional best practices and with changing regulatory mandates for higher education. Select, train, develop, and supervise a team of undergraduate Resident Assistants and desk hourly staff. Advise volunteer student leaders, including student government and conduct board. Work cooperatively with other campus units to ensure the delivery of essential services. Review and approve purchases and assist with the annual operating budget preparation. Conduct regular building walk-throughs. Meets regularly with maintenance staff, custodial supervisor, and dining manager to discuss issues or concerns that need to be resolved.
