Engineer on the California E-mail Services project, Office 365-Dedicated:•Technical Lead working with the State of California to migrate e-mail from 77 department on-premises mail servers to a Microsoft BPOS-D/Office 365 cloud solution.•Lead migration efforts for many large CA state agencies, including Department of Water Resources, Parks & Rec, State Library and others. •Experience conducting migrations from Exchange, GroupWise, and Google Apps. •Advise IT departments on how to configure on-premises domain controllers, Exchange, DNS, Firewalls, and Active Directory to prepare for migration.•Responsible for configuration of all department Hyper-V Co-Located domain controllers •Implementation of the ProofPoint email archive solution during migrations, eliminating PST files. •Assist departments in network preparation and troubleshooting to configure their environment for large scale migrations and on-going service.•Design and present monthly training workshops on Active Directory & DNS to state IT departments.•Major contributor to all technical documentation for on-going support and maintenance.

•Primary support technician for Northern California region supporting 5 area offices, numerous project offices, and 300 employees.
