Assisted principal investigators in the Department of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine by managing industry-sponsored interventional research protocols in the medical intensive care unit (MICU) for critically ill patients. Research focus: severe sepsis/septic shock, acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), and cardiac arrest.

Assisted principal investigators in the Department of Emergency Medicine and the Department of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine with physician-initiated interventional research studies related to cardiac arrest, reperfusion injury, therapeutic hypothermia, and severe sepsis/septic shock.
