Throughout my time as an intern at the continuum of care center, I was able to learn and implement many different aspects of the social services industry. I recognized the psycho-social needs of the elderly in the continuing of care setting through the study of family dynamics, adjustment of skills, and validation therapy. I was able to implement and suggest therapeutic and supportive care by observing resident interactions. Upon patient admission, I helped developed patient care plans to benefit their social and personal care. Helping with insurances and the financial aspect allowed me to understand the various methods of payment of resident care. To ensure each patient would be receiving quality care, I would conduct biweekly mood and psychological assessments that allow nurses and other medical providers to make changes to their care plan as needed.

Monitored the Director of Merchandising, the Director of Parent and Alumnae Relations, the Director of Social Media and had different responsibilities of my own. Internally, I was in charge of sending a quarterly report to internationals, creating and sending a monthly newsletter to our panhellenic counsel, as well as plan and coordinate a Founders Day Ball for all local alumnae and active members. I collaborated with the Vice President of Recruitment to plan and finalize all social and greek recruitment events. I also collaborated with the Vice President of Community Relations to plan and finalize community service, social and philanthropy events.

Coordinated monthly events for active members of the chapter to attend. Collaborated with local chapters and planned joined sisterhood events to strengthen the community as a whole. Allowed constructive criticism and suggestions from the chapter to provide an optimal chapter experience.
