With a deep love for the wilderness rooted from her upbringing in Idaho, Kylie's photography goes beyond the recreational values of life on the road and adventures. Growing up in a family of eight, Kylie learned to appreciate nature by spending family time camping and exploring the outdoors. The days of her youth consisted of stuffing the Suburban full of outdoor gear, kids, dogs and good food for extended camping trips. Nature is in her blood. With a commitment to exploring cultures and the vast spaces of the world, Kylie's photography focuses heavily on the intimacy of relationships between both people and places that we come to know and love. An explorer at heart, she has repelled waterfalls in the jungles of Ecuador, explored Machu Picchu's ruins, zipped through the rice patty fields of Vietnam and backpacked Cambodia. Kylie's ridden elephants in Thailand, lived in China and Hawaii, surfed the warm waves of Costa Rica, swam with sting rays in Nicaragua, and volunteered as a humanitarian filmmaker in Haiti and Guatemala. She has also fished some of the best rivers in Yellowstone and skied the Grand Tetons of Wyoming in waist-high fluffy powder. All this with a camera in hand to share the wild grandeur she surrounds herself in through photography. Based in Salt Lake City, Utah Kylie has a knack for story telling and creative directing. Her photography is all about raw, honest moments. She also works as a videographer and writer.
