The mission of PA Governor's School for the Sciences (PGSS) Campaign Inc., is to enable PGSS, a rigorous STEM pre-college academic program for highly talented, diverse Pennsylvania high-school students, and nurture those students' lifelong pursuit of scientific thinking, scholarly collaboration, and interpersonal connections. A free summer program for rising high school seniors, PGSS has been held annually at Carnegie Mellon University every year for the last 41 years.

In addition, I oversaw our Center for Advanced Professional Studies which provides individual educators from across the state with opportunities to advance their careers in approved, online and blended Pennsylvania Department of Education certifications, endorsements, Act 45, Superintendent Letter of Eligibility, and Continuing Professional Education programs.

Executive Committee MemberPUMP’s mission is to make Pittsburgh the most dynamic and diverse place by engaging, educating, and mobilizing all young people to create change in our community. Each year, PUMP serves nearly 30,000 individuals, primarily under the age of 40, through advocacy, civic, social, and recreational programming.

Summer partnerI helped to create a comprehensive program evaluation and impact report for a high-performing summer undergraduate research program, gathering and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to assess outcomes, make informed recommendations, and improve future programming. Additionally, I partnered in planning programming for the summer scholars, including organizing a Robotics Institute Summer Scholars (RISS) Policy Engagement Day with City Councilman Dan Gilman to enhance student engagement and robotics' urban implementation policy awareness.
