About Kyra Krass, Phd
I am a research scientist with 10 years' experience. I enjoy designing research to address relevant problems and generate insights. Currently, I work as an IAMRARE implementation co-lead at NORD supporting customers in project management from design through implementation. Additionally, I educate and mentor onboarding clients in best research practices and registry development. Previously I worked as a researcher at the University of Connecticut designing, executing, and analyzing eye-tracking and behavioral studies. I utilized SR Research's Experiment Builder and Prolific for experimental design and data collection; Microsoft Excel, SPSS, and R for data analytics; and Microsoft Word and PowerPoint for data visualization. This experience allowed me to develop expertise in project management through mentorship of undergraduates and collaboration with cross-functional teams. I also was a teaching assistant who educated undergraduate students in psychology research methods. I trained individuals in-person and remotely in research ethics, generating hypotheses, survey design (Qualtrics), data analysis (SPSS), and dissemination of research findings (MS PowerPoint and Word). Competencies: quantitative research, survey design, SPSS, R, eye-tracking methods
