IMG is one of the world’s leading sports and entertainment companies. Recently acquiring the rights to The Color Run Australia, I was appointed Operations Manager, with a primary role of team leadership, planning, implementing and successful delivery of a 4-race National series, primarily across capital cities of Australia. Event data collected across all events, demonstrated attendances greater than 40,000, and the securing of a corporate partnership with multinational company “7Eleven”. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement Event Management Plans and documents, including Risk and Emergency management.• Work with major stakeholders (Local Government, Emergency Services, Public Transport) and venue owners to ensure that all events are planned and delivered to an exemplary standard.• Design venues and courses using AutoCAD and oversee site build operations against these plans.• Determine infrastructure requirements for all events and liaise with suitable contractors from commencement to completion. • Develop event schedules, run sheets, site plans and staffing rosters.• Arrange all travel, accommodation and catering requirements for staff, contractors and casual employees. • Assist with the introduction of naming rights sponsors and develop enjoyable, engaging on-site activations that promote their brand. • Follow strict budgets and develop budget tracking tools for weekly reporting to direct line manager. • Sourcing, developing and overseeing merchandise manufacturing process from local and international suppliers. • Chair weekly progress meeting and report accordingly.

Worked throughout the venue planning and delivery phases at both the Aquatic Centre (Swimming and Diving) and Southport Broadwater Parklands (Triathlon and Marathon). As Operations Manager I worked closely with all Back of House (BOH) Functional Areas (FA) during Games Time to assist with the smooth delivery of the venue. Responsibilities:• Responsible for facilitating the integrated planning of GC2018 competition venue and the coordination of activities of all BOH FA: including Broadcast, Press, the Sport, Catering, Cleaning, Protocol and Athlete medical• Develop and implement venue operational plans, working with key internal and external stakeholders.• Leadership role to the various FA on the ground (10+ direct reports) managing the information flow with regards to venue operations. • Deliver (with OHS representatives) venue inductions and training for all onsite workforce.• Actively seek creative and cost-effective solutions to operational challenges at the venue. • Monitor and coordinate the on-site activities of the functional areas to ensure the safe, effective and efficient operation of the venue.• Assist with the inaugural Gold Run, the Commonwealth Games first mass participation event. • Facilitate the decision making and issue resolution between the relevant FA's or agencies on the ground.• Provide operational support and advice to the Venue General Manager (VGM) as required. • Represent the VMA team & VGM in the Event Control Room as required.

TriEvents is Western Australia’s leading event management company with a history of presenting the largest mass participation events in the state.
