Manager of contracts pertaining to the maintenance of bus shelters that has decreased the contractor trips and billing for services to the agency. Also functions in role as PRTC liaison and representative to external stakeholders and counterparts at regional meetings.• Representative of PRTC at regional transportation meetings; liaison with external agencies to improve service delivery, implementation of strategic plan and construction.• Prepare alternative analyses for new and modified service options.• Investigate and resolve running time issues and service delivery grievances.• Analyze route performance data using APC/AVL data; provide feedback to internal and external sources.• Compile ridership analyses, examine trends using various data sources, including APC/AVL/GFI; report to management and external stakeholders• Maintain bus stop database using TRAPEZE and Bus Stop Manager®• Coordinate with contractors to install new stops, repair, move and modify existing stops, clean bus stops and shelters• Manage bus shelter trash removal contract.• Coordinate with local and regional planning efforts, represents PRTC in planning for roadway and other infrastructure improvement initiatives.• Collaborate with Marketing & Communications staff in preparation/modification of customer service materials (maps, timetables, notices, etc.).• Examine and recommend changes to run-cut and rosters generated by bus service contract operator• Perform quality assurance oversight on contract operator for compliance

Manages the implementation and support of the computer assisted student transportation routing and scheduling system, providing supervision and instruction to the routing technicians who provide general support to the Transportation Division's use of automation and networked systems.Responsible for the planning, design and development of school bus routes and schedules using computer assisted routing software, resolves complications and strict adherence to the ride time requirements.Directs the development of all school bus routes, the efficient implementation of the bus routes, audit routes for accurate student data, and coordinate all requireed changes.Directs all personnel actions for persons supervised, including but not limited to, leave requests, job description development, personnel policies application, perspective employee interviews, employee complaint investigations; performance standards establishment/definition; staff evaluation and conferences; recommendation for employee hiring, assignment, promotion, retention, transfer, and dismissal.Develops and/or assists in the development of materials for dissemination to the Court, schools, parents and other District agencies.
