I have a degree in Child Development from McNeese State University, where I learned about the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of children from birth to adolescence. I currently work as a Behavioral Health Technician at Behavioral Innovations, where I provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings, following the prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols. In my previous roles, I gained valuable experience in working with young people, helping them to build life skills and confidence, develop healthy relationships, and make decisions that are right for them. I also developed my forklift operation, maintenance, and inspection skills, which I applied in my property claims adjuster position, where I examined claims forms, investigated and assessed damage to property, and negotiated claim settlements. I am passionate about supporting and empowering children and youth, and I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team. I am also eager to learn new skills and collaborate with others to achieve the best outcomes for the clients and the organization.
