Building processes and tools for the Microsoft Managed Rooms program.

Plan, design, implement and support 5000+ Skype/Teams conference room devices for Microsoft conference rooms worldwide. This includes extensive, daily work with Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell, Azure AD, PowerApps, Windows 10 imaging and deployment, Exchange, Office 365, Azure VM's, On-Premises Server Deployments and many other Microsoft based services.Surface Hub, Skype Room Systems old and new including Smart, Crestron and SRS V2 from Logitech, Lenovo and other OEMs, Polycom (Trio 8800,5100,5500) management.Includes designing and managing hardware and software supportability directly with the software engineers to ensure a product than can scale to massive Enterprise levels before, during and after deployment in thousands of conference rooms world wide. Coordination and planning with many involved teams.Manage and engineer all aspects including Active Directory Domain, GPO, SCCM, SCOM, Exchange, Skype for Business, MDM, Office 365, Azure, heavy PowerShell scripting, Server 2012+ management. Deploy servers for management tasks and provisioning of room devices. Build, manage and deploy custom Windows operating system images and configurations using standard Microsoft imaging tools.Presented deployment and management methods and tools I created for Skype Room Systems V2 to Microsoft customers world wide as well as product development team to integrate back into the public product.

Support was often direct with customers which includes CEO's and estate management of the largest companies in the US.Installation and management and support of Windows Server based IP security camera solutions from ONSSI. Currently managing the installation and implementation of MS Exchange online for about 20 users and a transition to a domain soon. Currently implementing an SQL based business management suite "Tigerpaw".Design and management of large estate networks for reliable home control, automation and business use.Work includes design and implementation of multi-VLAN networks, QOS management, IP phones, IP video distribution, both copper and fiber networks. Designed and implemented medium and large scale wireless networks similar to ISP backbones using enterprise grade WIFI equipment from Ubiquiti and Cisco.Pre-wire and installation of high-end residential and commercial automation systems. Lead phone and helpdesk ticket support contact for hundreds of customers around the globe with commercial grade audio/video, multi-server Windows based systems.On Call 24/7 via cell phone through the worldwide 800 number. All call chains began with me. In-office and after hours calls totaled 40-50/month.Managed the daily support ticket system (designed in-house). All support tickets were seen and either taken care of by me or handed off to an engineer with myself in the loop. I would manage about 50+ open tickets on a daily basis. Usually about 5 new tickets per day.Created and managed a library of technical documentation for both internal processes and customer friendly processes.Managed inventory of spare parts in multiple locations globally.Regularly held meetings with software and manufacturing teams in an effort to design a better product for the customers. Designed and built multi-cpu/multi-computer server systems to display high-resolution real-time graphics for digital planetarium applications. Dell server/workstations were primarily used.Installed high-resolution 4k theater grade projection systems around the world for planetariums.Researched and engineered new solutions for multi-computer backups, easier installations and more intuitive interfaces for setup, installation and backups.
