My name is Lane Harris and I currently live in Chicago, IL. I am originally from the suburbs of Chicago, but I moved to Iowa from 2006 until 2017 when I graduated from high school. I was drawn back to Chicago for school because I preferred the urban city life to the small town I was used to. I am not one to shy away from change or risk, which has led me to so many rewarding and developmental opportunities. I am a graduate of Loyola University Chicago. I studied Advertising and Public Relations after discovering that a Pre-Medical track was not the right path for me. After switching majors, early in my freshman year, I have developed and polished skills such as communication, teamwork, organization, planning, branding, social media proficiency, and collaboration. I also consider myself a creative person, and being able to develop my creative advertising skills has been enjoyable and beneficial. I have deeply appreciated participating and actively learning in various classes, internships, and organizations. I finished my college career with a Marketing Internship at GAF Energy, which has now transformed into a full-time position as a Marketing Coordinator.
