By using practical knowledge of the major principles, theories, and research findings in adult learning I plan, design, develop, and evaluate training material for use in the classroom, laboratory, and Web or Computer Based Training (CBT). I deliver operational and 2nd level maintenance training of the Data Recording Subsystem to IEC personnel and IEC customers including US Navy personnel and by utilizing knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques of job task analysis, ensure that training outcomes are congruent with required knowledge, skills, and abilities. I submit written Course Reports, following each completed course, to superiors. I coordinate with the training personnel onboard East Coast SSBNs about class convenings. I submit documentation of completed training to have students successfully completing the course entered into the FLTMPS data base. I maintain records of students that have attended and completed training.

I was a Training Specialist, holding a 9502 NEC, with 15+ years of experience as a trainer/instructor/facilitator. I was responsible for the instruction of the Miniature and MicroMiniature Solder Repair courses. I instructed the MTR (Module Test and Repair) courses. I used practical knowledge of the major principles, theories, and research findings in adult learning in order to be able to plan, design, develop, and/or evaluate instructional material. I used knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques of job task analysis in order to ensure that training outcomes are congruent with required knowledge, skills, and abilities. I provided overall analysis of the effectiveness of the courses verbally and in writing to my superiors. I am able to interpret technical data and prepare curriculum to facilitate that data into instructional materials. I work harmoniously with all levels of personnel inside and outside the Department of Defense. I am knowledgeable of security, safety and environmental requirements.

I was a certified 2M Inspector (9503 NEC) at Trident Training Facility in the Module/Test and Repair and the Computer Repair Shop. My duties were as follows: (1) Monitor, inspect and ensure all quality procedures and factors, both standard engineering quality procedures and those specified by manufacturing, were adhered to for all Miniature/MicroMiniature soldering repairs of circuit cards and computer systems. When standards are not met, identify the cause and provide "just in time" training necessary to correct the problem and prevent future problems. (2) I brought online the ability for TRF to recertify its 2M certified individuals which provided a substantial cost savings to the command . I maintained the Trident Training Refit Facility 2M Program by recertifing all of the command's Miniature and MicroMiniature Soldering Technicians. This included explanation of standards and procedures and any remedial training necessary. (3) I functioned as one of the command's Total Quality Leadership (TQL) Facilitators, facilitating the TQL Fundamentals and Team Skills Courses. (4) I was one of the command's Quality Advisors for several of the Process Action (PAT) Teams and Quality Management (QMB) Boards. 5) I was part of the team that brought online the Gold Disk Development program at Trident Refit Facility. This was a program that developed a disk that allowed an IBM computer to be used as a troulbeshooting aid in circuit card repair. I became a certified Gold Disk Developer and developed the first Gold Disk to be used at Trident Training Facility in troubleshooting a circuit card. I acted as the Quality Assurance for all subsequent Gold Disks developed at TRF.

This position was located in the Quality Assurance (QA) Group. I served as the Quality Assurance Specialist (QAS) for SWS, Weapons Material Handling Equipment (WHME), CCS and Defensive Ordnance systems and weapons for the Ohio Class Trident Submarine. I was responsible for the development of a QA program and the establishment of a QA plan, monitoring and reviewing weapons QA requirements associated with assigned refit work packages including those involving weapons and weapons critical systems and performing the complex in-process and finished product testing and inspection work required to verify specifications and requirements. I was responsible for serving as a focal point on QA requirements, issues and problems. My assigned tasks included auditing, evaluating, inspecting, instructing of personnel, training of personnel, indoctrinating personnel of all civilian grade levels and military rank up to and including O-5, verifying work practices, alteration accomplishment, maintenance procedures, highly sophisticated in-process and finished product testing for compliance with accepted Weapons QA standards and authorized specifications and requirements. I wrote, verified or monitored a wide range of failure reports and prepared and provided narrative technical reports to higher level management concerning process deficiencies, technical problems and potential problem areas. I have extensive knowledge of audit and inspection techniques and the ability to interpret and apply contract and engineering specifications, regulations, and policy statements.
