In 2012 I had the opportunity to build a creative department inside a non-profit. I was invited by Alex Bogusky to be the Creative Director for Vice President Al Gore’s environmental organization, The Climate Reality Project. The challenge was to reinvent ways to communicate the complexity of climate change and help move the cultural perspective from despair to hope. The content we created aimed to inspire people to think, feel, and act on the greatest challenge of our lifetime.

mono is an agency that believes that simpler is better and that the brands that are single-minded with their voice will win in this complex business landscape. During my time at mono, the company was named small agency of the year in 2011 and 2012 by The American Association of Advertising Agencies.

As an independent Art Director, I had the opportunity to collaborate with renowned names like Wieden+Kennedy, Nike, WongDoody, egg, and Wexley School for Girls.

At DDB Seattle I was able to create work for K2 skis, Brooks running shoes, the Seattle Supersonics and The North Face.

My career started out in Milwaukee at Eichenbaum, back in 1996. The Milwaukee ad legend Steve Eichenbaum sharpened my skills in design, illustration, art direction and writing bloated, self-congratulatory bios.
