CurrentPrivate practice followed 10 years as a litigator/appellate practitioner for the federal government (Federal Trade Commission, Washington, D.C. and Department of Justice, United State Attorney’s Office, Memphis, Tennessee). Both for the federal government and in private practice, I have practiced in state and federal courts (trial and appellate) throughout the United States, including, among others, in New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, Houston, Dallas, San Francisco. From April 1977 up to the ongoing present, I have remained a litigator/appellate practitioner but have added to my litigation and appellate practice experience handling business transactions, outside general counsel to a variety of business entities, including a multi-billion dollar bank, large private primary and secondary educational institution, a variety of small businesses. On the whole, more or less, evenly divided representing plaintiffs and defendants in dispute resolution (including trials/appeals/arbitration/mediation, etc.). Over the last 5 years, I have spent a disproportionate amount of practice representing plaintiffs in toxic tort litigation gaining a particular expertise in personal injury and property damage from exposure to toxic mold and mycotoxins. Have considerable experience in unconventional litigation.
