• Coordinate all tasks associated with Diagnostic Imaging including patient scheduling and expediting urgent care• Interpret and coordinate physician’s orders to schedule diagnostic imaging and procedures• Collaborate with imaging management to ensure minimal waiting times by physician and patient • Ensure quality patient care in relation to the patient’s prescribed diagnosis treatment, and other directives from physicians, nurses, and/or administrators• Clearly and accurately convey appointment information to the PSC’s in a timely manner by telephone and in writing• Provide clinics with pertinent information regarding the patient’s schedule and preparations needed for appointments• Direct patients scheduled for diagnostic tests, treatment or other services using a clear and understandable voice• Manage, monitor, and facilitate completion of patient scheduling process to ensure optimal efficiency in operations and resources while maintaining the institution’s standards of customer service and quality patient care• Receive and direct calls from internal/external customers• Mentor and train to new employees • Proficient in CARE/NetPass, EndoWorks, OR Manager, Clinic Station, Lotus Notes
