Perk joined the International Center for Entrepreneurial Development (ICED) in December 2003 during the acquisition of COMPUTER EXPLORERS® (CE). He has been affiliated with CE since 1992 as owner and director of two CE franchises and was named Franchisee of the Year in 1993. Perk joined CE headquarters in 1996 as Vice President of Operations and served as Chief Executive Officer from 1997 until ICED purchased COMPUTER EXPLORERS in 2003.Before assuming his responsibilities for ICED International Development in December of 2005, Perk served as ICED Director of Training, and, as Special Projects Manager, implemented an internet based sales management system for ICED and an internet based franchise management system for COMPUTER EXPLORERS.Prior to joining COMPUTER EXPLORERS, Perk led an international team in marketing information systems and product management at A. C. Nielsen Company. He directed the development and implementation of marketing information systems used by consumer marketing companies all over the world. Perk began his career at General Mills, Inc. in marketing information systems, and was a founder and partner of Coordinated Management Systems, a successful marketing information systems consulting firm serving top consumer manufacturing and marketing clients.Prior to launching his business career, Perk served in Sicily as a Supply Corps officer in the US Navy.
