I joined the team that implemented Ericsson's version of ITIL global problem management to Customer Supports operations. I.e. our organization was responsible to reduce the adverse impact of incidents and problems that are caused by errors within the networks of Ericsson customers, and to prevent recurrence of incidents related to these errors.Within this team I was responsible for Knowledge Management as described below as ~Senior Business Analyst/Product Owner, but also work with data analytics, and process development.Please note that In Ericsson the term "Business Analyst" was not used, and "Product Owner" were at times handled by the IT organization. Ours was different by the main players being dispersed over three time zones.The new system provided Ericsson Customer Support with approx 350 MSEK / $60 MAUD efficiency gains per year - and non specified gains to other parts of Ericsson, serving 5,000-6,000 unique users per month.
