Senior Franchise Game Content Editor
Current• Ideate with designers and creative leads; discuss narrative beats/story progression across releases.• Participate in writers’ room script readings and provide critical feedback.• Write and implement game event voice-over scripts, lore, and strings; edit seasonal/annual game content.• Sync individually with writers to problem solve, discuss story feedback, and collaborate on revisions.• Attend voice recording sessions for narrative/editorial support; edit scripts for accuracy and accessibility.• Fix VO/text bugs before release and for post-release hot fixes; coordinate validation with testers.• Maintain and update editorial documentation for style/story elements and narrative references.• Collaborate with engineers to improve tools for narrative, editorial, and localization processes.• Coordinate content with downstream teams, such as localization, consumer products, and publishing.• Manage and mentor associate editor; manage freelancers, assignments, work orders, and invoices.
