As a member of the DJO Surgical Knee team, I work with key opinion leaders in developing our Knee platforms.• Communicate status to the senior leadership team• Coordinate project activities and resources within the project team• Present product development strategies to the internal project team, design surgeon team, and senior leadership team• Host multiple surgeon labs gathering user needs and inputs• Create and refine engineering drawings, models, and specifications for implants and instrumentation• Provide the technical documentation to assist in the regulatory submissions for FDA and CE marking

Responsibilities included providing support for product design and development work for the Subsea Christmas Tree product line, producing engineering and associated manufacturing related documentation, analyzing and interpreting experimental and field data, and making recommendations concerning product design and manufacturing. Essential functions of my position included:• Provide engineering support to projects, tenders, and R&D initiatives.• Contribute to the development of technical documents during all stages of design including design basis, technical calculations, procedures, reports/presentations, and testing.• Perform relevant calculations and review/ interpret analysis from supporting calculations done by others.• Assure that engineering requirements are being met by monitoring the quality of documentation as well as assembly and test operations in manufacturing.• Maintain current knowledge of technology developments in the areas of responsibility and Industry and Regulatory Standards.• Utilize current engineering tools and packages that necessary for the position; this includes SAP, MathCAD, Autocad, Solidworks, etc.• Establish and maintain a technical relationship with clients and vendors to ensure successful project execution.• Assist in the development of prototypes or technical qualification programs.

Provided one on one tutoring, taught large groups of students, assisted in developing course material, and graded homework assignment.
