I work as a consultant on a project developing training scenarios for senior leadership in peace operations. I provide project management support and assist in content development, as well as producing one of the training scenarios and a policy paper examining the UN training architecture for senior leadership in peace operations.

At International Peace Institute, I work in the Center for Peace Operations, focusing on issues on sustaining peace, training for senior mission leadership, UN reform and current development in peace operations. I support in both research and convening around these topics. I have multiple publications forthcoming, including a training scenario on election violence, research on training architecture within the UN and a compendium on local network peacebuilding strutures.

Journal of Political Inquiry is a student-run, scholarly journal which bi-annually publishes articles of political science and international relations. I managed teams of three to meet tight deadlines of publication. I also contributed articles and research for both the journal and online outlet.

United Nations Headquarters- New York

UNITAR is the main training arm of the United Nations, providing seminars and events to educate diplomats and UN employees on the workings of the United Nations and relevant topics to the UN's work. I worked with Permanent Missions, UN staff, NGOs and the academic community to organize events and seminars that covered a wide array of topics including a seminar for 200 participants on migrants and refugees in preparation of the UN Summit for Refugees and Migrants.

Mieklejohn Civil Liberties Institute is a civil rights think tank which researches and advocates government accountability. I researched human rights issues in the California area to be submitted to the United Nations commissions for both the Convention against Torture and the Convention on the Elimination on all forms of Racial Discrimination. I also reported on protests of living standards in California prisons.
