Overseeing the passenger services operations on a day to day basis. I report to my passenger manager. Ensuring flights are checked in and departed on time and i encourage the staff to collect revenue for the airlines and conduct efficient and friendly customer service to all passengers.My duties include completing in house audits on staff and procedures, monthly health and safety inspections, completing back to work and welfare interviews for staff absence.I also am required to make sure we have sufficient staff on shift whilst making sure we dont over staff ourselves which would waste money from the budget.On a day to day basis i have to help staff by authorising passport visa checks, check in queries and passenger enquiries. I also have to check the ticket desk banking every night to make sure it is correct.

My duties include checking passengers for various airlines and boarding the flights. Due to working for a handling agent i have to learn a wide variety of products ranging from low cost airlines to family charter flights. I have to deal with a lot of confrontation when having to collect revenue for the airlines, which gives me experience on how to interact with different types of people.I also have to help and give information and meal vouchers to any one who may be delayed on a flight.
