Worked along side the President and Vice president, as a member of the Retirement team, responsible for providing brokerage and consulting services to drive and support our clients retirement benefit programs. In addition to providing client services, our team worked with the Mergers & Acquisitions department, to provide the buyout community and the Willis corporate client due diligence, and retirement benefit consulting during transactions. My duties included account data gathering and input, report design and generation, completion of quarterly investment performance reports, development of both internal and client marketing communications. Assisted with the 401(k) implementation and start-up processes and provided ongoing servicing; And served as a liaison between our corporate clients and various plan providers. Traveled to meet with C-suite and senior level executives in the facilitation of quarterly investment committee meetings. Which involved analyzing and interpreting investment performance data. In addition to investment committee meetings, I traveled to our client offices and conducted company wide retirement benefit meetings in conjunction with our health and welfare benefit counterparts. Our team generated a significant amount of business from our due diligence work with the Mergers & Acquisitions department. I was responsible for 30% of all incoming due diligence requests. Which included data collection, analysis of retirement plan design and compliance, as well as providing both pre and post-close compliance corrections and transactional solutions.

Completed a 9 month cross-business rotational graduate development program and transitioned through both the Property & Casualty and Employee Benefits divisions. Performed marketing functions on account renewals including data gathering, preparing submissions, and negotiating in the marketplace. Reviewed and checked for accuracy within various types of commercial insurance policies including: property, professional and general liability, excess/ umbrella liability, auto liability and worker's compensation. Performed due diligence functions for new and existing clients on their insurance and risk program portfolios- thinking strategically using risk and data analytic tools.

Updated current account/client lists; researched insurance companies, policies, and pricing; prepared policy comparison spreadsheets; updated the Willis Online shared website that provides clients direct access to Willis and its services; Streamlined the template used by Willis associates to communicate details of multiple policies to clients.

Assisted the Vice President of the Talent and Organizational Development department with completion of the 2008/09 fiscal year report, evaluation of performance management program and measurements, completion of leadership development course evaluations; and attended executive strategy planning meetings focused on reorganizing the structure and function of multiple departments within the Baylor Healthcare System.

Supervised/managed multiple promotions groups, edited vendor contracts, and organized events.
