Provide settlement services for buyers and sellers, real estate agents, brokers, financial institutions, and legal professionals in residential as well as commercial property. I work closely with our clients to open new orders, process, close and fund files. I am responsible for reviewing and resolving all requirements and exceptions including tax liens, judgments, bankruptcies, encroachments, lis pendens, lot splits, etc. to ensure title insurance is issued at closing. I prepare all closing documents and conduct the closing with all parties including the buyers, sellers, agents, lenders and attorneys.

Responsible for the quality and underwriting requirements for all consumer real estate loans adhering to various loan investor underwriting standards including FHLMC, FHLBI, in-house loans and USDA Rural Development. I developed the current mortgage underwriting program for the bank as well as a mortgage loan pipeline for all real estate applications. Responsible for training and developing a back up underwriter as well as educate current staff and loan officers for the underwriting program and any industry changes.

Manage consumer and commercial loan files. Work with all external and internal auditors for file review. Review sold real estate loans for investor required Quality Control. Prepare a quarterly report of quality control finding to senior management on a quarterly basis. Maintain updates for the banks loan processing software. Train the loan processing staff on any major changes to documents and software changes.

As a Mortgage Operations Specialist my responsibilities included ordering appraisals while adhering to the Home Valuation Code of Conduct, post-closing quality review of all FHA files before delivery to FHA for insuring, back up to the secondary market, and a project manager for our team. I also maintained the mortgage departments software system, ensuring the proper maintenance and updates were done in a timely fashion to adhere to regulatory requirements. I provided help desk support to all lenders regarding the software. I coordinated tasks and projects including instituting the new processes related to HVCC, process improvement, and creating new policies to comply with the new RESPA regulations.

As a Closing Processor, my duties including the review and preparation of loan closing documents, ensuring that all underwriting, pre closing, and post-closing conditions were properly executed, as well as coordinating closing dates and documents with various title companies. I maintained a pipeline averaging 50+ loans, reviewing each file at various stages of processing and closing. I also balanced multiple accounts, and maintained the bill payment system for the mortgage department.

As the discharge clerk I was responsible for preparing commercial loan discharges for the state of Michigan including mortgage, assignment, and UCC discharges. Also kept track of UCC's and continued or terminated as needed. Prepared commercial loan advances and pay downs on a daily basis. Worked independently while reporting to management on a weekly basis. Held accountable for daily, weekly and quarterly goals. .As a financials clerk I was responsible for entering and monitoring financial requirements for all of Michigan's commercial loan clients. This was tracked and updated on an access database with reports being distributed on a monthly and quarterly basis. I also reviewed our asset based lending customers and determined their availability for advances. This was done by monitoring and reviewing required agings such as accounts receivable, payable and inventory. I worked independently and reported to management on a weekly basis.

As an accounting clerk I was responsible for accounts payable, balancing accounts and ordering supplies. I also sent and received wires, balanced ATM transactions, researched accounts and when needed even acted as a proof operator processing all the days business. I worked closely with senior management and because of my experience working in the front of the office acted as a communication liaison between the front and back of the office. .As a senior CSA I was responsible for overseeing the teller line, balancing my drawer cash as well as front and back vault and ATM cash. I opened and closed all types of accounts such as checking, savings, money market and certificate of deposits for both personal and business customers.
