In May 2016, Laura received a “Fierce & Fabulous” Award from Peel Children’s Aid Foundation, to recognize her support for this charity that helps vulnerable at-risk children. In 2016, she was recognized as a WXN Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Award Winner, an honour celebrating fearless female leaders whose efforts to succeed continue to inspire others. Laura has an undergraduate degree and Ivey Executive MBA from Western University in London, Ontario. She also holds her Institute of Corporate Directors and Personal Financial Planning designations from the Canadian Securities Institute.In her free time, Laura enjoys cottage life, running, skiing, golf and travelling with her husband Richard.
