Hi, I'm Laura, a Creative Designer with a broad skill set, including graphic, textiles and digital.I have 15+ years of experience working in advertising agencies and in-house studios, creating campaigns for a wide range of clients, with a focus on fashion and drinks industries. During this time I've designed projects from conception to completion across several channels, and I have also spent three years working as a print designer for the largest high-street fashion retailer in Brazil. This experience enabled me to broaden my skills to illustration and textile design as well. Collaborating with brands and print studios globally, I have also developed extensive experience as a freelancer delivering projects remotely, seeing my work applied to apparel, footwear, accessories, stationary, and home decoration.Today, I’m based in London and currently working full-time as a creative lead for a fast-paced business. In this role, I create visuals that blend conceptual thinking with hands-on design, while line managing a team of 7, leading and developing designers towards the delivery of projects. My responsibilities extend to overseeing photography and video as well, working closely with resource and project managers to manage workloads effectively.Over the past few years, I've developed a great interest in cryptocurrencies and decentralised web. I've had the opportunity to contribute to an exciting project to create a Web3 marketplace, taking charge of design, UI and UX throughout its entirety. This experience allowed me to expand my skills once again and deepened my understanding of blockchain technology.My passions include art, music, and travelling. I’m also a drinks enthusiast - though I must admit having a WSET qualification didn't stop me picking bottles by the label! When I'm not working, you'll find me at home watering my plants, playing guitar, or exploring the nearest local market - digging through vintage vinyl and discovering new bands to listen to while designing my next project :)
