A group of education leaders founded Great Minds® in 2007 to advocate for a more content-rich, comprehensive education for all children.Responsibilities included:● Create new strategic plans for the territory (Oregon and Alaska), using historic account data and market research to identify and develop sales opportunities and renew/expand existing partnerships.● Develop positive, trusted-vendor relationships with key stakeholders including curriculum directors, coaches, principals and superintendents, based on data-driven understanding, empathy, and consultative approaches to account management.● Manage and support accounts throughout the life of the customer journey, through remote and on-site customer meetings to identify and develop sales opportunities and expansion of existing partnerships.● Add value and support new and established account expansion at in-person and virtual events, wherever needed.● Partner with internal teams to ensure quota is exceeded, including Partner Success, Product, and Business Operations.

Part of the sales organization for NWEA, a K-12 assessment and research organization acquired by HMH in 2023.Responsibilities included:● Build strategic plans for the territory, making data-driven decisions to identify funding sources and manage renewal and upsell / cross-sell within established and new accounts.● Provide informal training and support to teachers and administrators that increased assessment literacy, and made the best use of student growth and achievement data from MAP suite assessments. ● Grow and maintain positive, trusted-vendor status with district decision makers and influencers, using advanced collaboration and listening skills to enrich the data needed to effectively manage each account.● Manage and support accounts while cultivating new business, ensuring NWEA growth despite district funding headwinds.● Partner with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction, including Support, Operations, Legal, and others.

Part of the research team for RMC Research, helping clients measure effectiveness, understand value, and realize goals in education, health, and the arts through research-based best practices. Responsibilities included:● Develop research-based, formative evaluations of grant-funded K-12 education initiatives in science and social studies.● Lead research development and delivery, conducting focus groups and fidelity observations, semi-structured phone interviews, and designing and managing online surveys to collect feedback from school district leadership, instructional coaches, principals and teachers. ● Perform analysis, compile results, and write / deliver reports summarizing findings and offering recommendations for improving program performance.
