Over time, my practice then transitioned to insurance recovery, focusing on obtaining insurance coverage for commercial and employment litigation. As I spent more time representing corporations in claims disputes with their insurers, I saw a clear pattern emerge. In each case, the wording of the insurance policy was at the heart of the dispute. Now, I take the knowledge gained from years of litigation, arbitration and negotiation and use it to negotiate insurance policies and indemnity agreements to prevent disputes before they arise. For those disputes that cannot be avoided, I help clients identify the best method to achieve the desired goal, and then mediate, arbitrate or litigate to a successful resolution.
