My career began with my graduation from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Marketing, Management and Business Law. I took a keen interest in Marketing while at university and enjoyed that I was able to get creative, think strategically and put my organisational skills to use all in the same role.Leaving university I was offered a temporary position for 8 weeks at Fleetcare as a Marketing Assistant. My 8 weeks turn in to 3 months as I was asked to stay on until I went travelling in November, 2010. Before I left, I was offered a full time position for when I returned, which I gladly accepted. My role at Fleetcare was a great introduction to the Marketing world, and I was very please when I was promoted to Direct Marketing Coordinator at the end of 2011.Looking to expand my Marketing experience, I was offered a position as Online Marketing Coordinator at Betts Group in 2012. My interest for Digital Marketing started here, and I was soon given the position of Digital Sales Coordinator where I managed the online stores for several of the company's brands. At the end of 2013 I was promoted to Marketing and Brand Manager of the Betts and Betts Kids brands, which I happily accepted.In July 2014 I began my role at John Walker Chocolatier where I joined the small team to manage all Marketing channels for the company. Working as a one-woman Marketing team has been a new challenge for me and has forced me to trust my own instincts and back my own decisions.Each day I wake up and hope to learn something new, in both Marketing and life.
