Girl Gone International (GGI) is a volunteer-powered global and local community on a mission to connect, represent, and empower women who live and travel abroad.As voluntary Community Manager, I am responsible for facilitating meaningful engagement within the Facebook group of over 21,000 GGIs via event strategy and content management within the Amsterdam team. Each month, I host at least one GGI event to connect members in Amsterdam. During quarter one of 2023, the Amsterdam group increased the amount of hosted events by 50% per week. Since 2021 the Amsterdam GGI group has increased by 72%.

WYSE Travel Confederation is the global not-for-profit representing the entire youth, student, and educational travel industry. Responsible for planning and creating content, managing social channels, leading communication campaigns for WYSE Travel Confederation's events, and coordinating the production of print materials for conferences.Owner of the WYSE Travel Confederation email calendar, scheduling and creating email communications for members of the organisation, and promoting initiatives, events, and member success.

I coordinated global exhibitions and events and have worked with colleagues and suppliers from Brazil to Thailand.Success: Increasing attendance to regional conferences by 50%

LSBU's mission is to be recognised as an enterprising civic university that addresses real-world challenges. Responsible for the alumni communications programme including; maintaining the alumni website, managing email campaigns, and alumni Facebook and Twitter accounts. Collaborating with colleagues to identify events of interest to create content for all alumni channels.I marketed opportunities to graduates and worked across departments to create and develop inspiring content that instills pride amongst LSBU's stakeholders. I organised events that brought alumni back to campus to share their stories with students and participate in CPD opportunities. All the work carried out fostered relationships between LSBU alumni and the institution, ensuring graduates were involved in improving the employability of current students.

Responsible for organising reunions for alumni and utilsing these events as an engagement tool to build the LSBU Alumni network. Increase the presence of LSBU alumni within the student body by organising career panels. I also created content LSBU Alumni communication channels from these events.

Manage the alumni help desk providing excellent customer service to all stakeholders who contacted the alumni team. Identify content appropriate for inspiring alumni profiles through conversations with alumni.
