Specialties: Jazz vocals and performance, improvised vocals with loopers and electronics, workshops in vocal improvisation ("Singing on the Edge", "The Spontaneous Voice" and "Soul Songs"), interdisciplinary collaboration ("Improvocation", "The Human Loops"), live surround-sound for relaxation ("Sound Journeys"), healing sound (working with cancer patients and palliative visits), studio vocals (personal projects as well as vocals on Rhiannon's FLIGHT cd and various albums for children's advocate, Raffi.)Improvisation is the thread that winds through all of these disciplines and makes them alive and transformative. What inspires me is the healing effect of sound and intention on the spirit and the body and how we need more of that. Oh, and humour.
