I began my cycling career at age 11 where my school had a fundraising Bike-A-Thon teaching me to love the sport. From that I was hooked and went on to do RAGBRAI (ride across IOWA) three times. Soon after doing RAGBRAI the second time, I met someone from the Pepsi Blue Horizon Wheelman who introduced me to Road Racing and Track cycling. After racing through high school I went to Marian College on athletic scholarship for cycling and got a degree in Sports Management/ Health and Fitness. Then tragically after metaling at Collegiate Track Nationals I crashed in the final round during the Italian Pursuit.
