Child Support Officer, Financial Specialist V
CurrentTeam Lead, mentor. Review and entry of legal orders, financial adjustments. Attends court to assist legal staff as needed. Prepares legal and administrative documents. Negotiates with custodial and non-custodial parents on child support establishment, and enforcement or modification of court orders. Detailed in-office investigations to locate parties, verify employment, and determine assets. Monitor and refer delinquent cases for appropriate enforcement actions. Responds to inquiries and complaints regarding child support case processing and status, researching case information on the Texas Child Support Enforcement System (TXCSES), supporting staff. Explains child support policies and procedures, Texas Family Law, federal regulations and other states' IV-D regulations. Document all actions taken and maintain virtual files for accuracy.
