◆ Co-led the museums component of a USAID program in Armenia (My Armenia) to strengthen the museum and cultural sector for economic improvement and sustainability; provide specialized technical expertise to museums professionals at ten regional museums in Armenia in areas of collections management, visitor experience, and operations and management; initiated the establishment of an in-kind donation mechanism to allow for small-scale purchases to improve museum operations and activities ◆ Managed the branding and redesign, including logo development, of ten regional museums in Armenia to allow them to better promote themselves in-person and online and attract visitors ◆ Led a team of U.S. Government agencies through the development and execution of Building Bridges: A Symposium on Global Heritage Preservation, two days of discussions and presentations to foster conversations and increased efficiency in cultural heritage protection and preservation efforts between government and non-government organizations, the private sector, and the university and research community◆ Assessed the feasibility of a cultural heritage tourism program in the Khorezm region of Uzbekistan by participating in a ten-day scoping trip, meeting with individuals from the Ministries of Culture, Tourism, and Economy, and providing a report of observations and recommendations around site interpretation, visitor experience, and cultural asset management◆ Consulted (virtual and in-person) with over two dozen U.S. Embassies abroad to rethink the design of American Spaces to better align with USG programming goals and promote visitor engagement◆ Created curated content databases and dynamic bespoke lesson plans using Smithsonian content in support of U.S. foreign policy priority programming for American Spaces

◆ Performed daily collections management tasks including the care, movement, and documentation of objects in the collection◆ Digitally photographed objects in the collection and sifted through prior digital photographs of objects to ensure more complete object files in PastPerfect database◆ Performed 2011 annual environmental analysis and collected weekly environmental data using PEM2 dataloggers to contribute to collections management recordkeeping for the museum. This data ensured that temperatures and relative humidity levels remained within industry standards for the long-term preservation of the collection.◆ Assisted in the installation of The American Revolution at Sea exhibition by moving objects from storage to the exhibition space, creating book mounts, and cleaning exhibition cases. The exhibition was drawn entirely from the Society’s collections and was on view for 8 months

◆ Assisted with approximately 10 loan renewals and the closing of an expired loan and prepared insurance value summaries per open loan and per site◆ Updated and consolidated loan documentation and files◆ Performed research at the Archives of American Art to trace the history of an expired open loan. Research included review of sales records to trace the provenance of an object at an NTHP site in DC in order to return the object to its rightful owner ◆ Contributed 3 blog posts to the Historic Sites Blog to highlight areas of the collection

◆ Conserved, cared for, and re-housed works of art in a variety of mediums, including leather, ceramic, and paper◆ Cleaned and conserved a fossilized whale bone and assisted in its packing for transport
