I grew up in a small town in upstate NY, involved with school sports/clubs and graduated high school as salutatorian. I pursued a degree in the environmental field and received a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. For the duration of my college career, I was involved with sports (soccer), clubs, worked jobs when time allowed, took a semester abroad in Australia, and pursued internships with various agencies.Following graduation, I re-located to Northern California to advance my career in outdoor recreation management. I possess an understanding of working for the government, private, and non-profit entities in various roles. My positions provided a strong background in recreation, heavy equipment operations, regulation/permitting, wildland fire, and forestry. Currently, I implement and oversee wildlife habitat and restoration efforts across the state of California.
