SEND Educator | Autism and SLD Specialist |With over 13 years experience in special educational needs provisions, I am passionate in providing the best practice for autistic students with severe learning difficulties. As a practitioner, I focus on three core skills for my students to develop; communication, regulation, and tolerance of others. In 2018 I studied at University of Birmingham in special studies autism children where I was awarded a distinction. I focused on the effectiveness of training of staff supporting autistic children with severe learning difficulties and the impact it had on outcomes.Since then, I have continued to develop my understanding of accurate assessment for autistic pupils in special needs settings to ensure they get the best possible outcomes.
