Guild Education is on a mission to unlock opportunity for America’s workforce through education and upskilling, with a double bottom-line business model that does well by doing good. Guild works with leading Fortune 1000 employers such as The Walt Disney Company, Walmart, Discover, Chipotle and Lowe's to transform their education & upskilling programs through Guild's technology platform, payments system and learning marketplace. In my role as Principal, Marketplace Quality and Impact, I led a team responsible for measuring student outcomes and impact and assessing the quality of Guild's partners and programs. We created a Quality Assurance program to set performance benchmarks, assess programs against those benchmarks, and explore what factors contributed to successful outcomes. We looked at academic, career, and student satisfaction data to identify high performing programs and areas of opportunity for improvement. Importantly, we did not just measure at outcomes overall, but explored outcomes for various subpopulations to drive equitable student outcomes for all.

In my role as Learning Partnerships Director, I led the strategic account relationship with University of Massachusetts Global, one of Guild’s oldest and largest partnerships active across all of Guild’s employer partners, and managed cross-functional support and operations within Guild. I also contributed to strategic projects for the Learning Partnerships team including company strategy updates for quarterly business reviews, process improvements, and employer policy changes. Notably, I designed and formalized a process to strategically transition academic partner relationships from business development to account management, supporting the rapid growth of Guild’s Learning Marketplace.

Prior to its acquisition by Guild Education in 2020, Entangled Solutions was a strategy and innovation consultancy for education. Entangled worked across boundaries to harvest insights and unlock the potential of the people and organizations poised to accelerate innovation and foster equity in education. Entangled had a unique model, leveraging the insights from its professional service practices to create new education ventures.During my tenure at Entangled, I led more than 40 client projects across the education ecosystem, managing complex multi-stakeholder engagements and building close, high-trust relationships with university presidents and C-level executives. As the most senior delivery lead, I worked across all of Entangled's practice areas, helping to launch and grow many of them. I also contributed to thought leadership and business development for Entangled by contributing to articles and white papers, speaking at conferences, and hosting roundtable events.
