Responsible for first, second, and third shift electroplating quality, safety, cost, and engineering support of a high volume automated hexavalent chromium and zinc plater to support motorcycle builds. Maintained all department controlled ISO documents, SOP's, data collection, audit preparation, and documentation of procedural changes. Presented findings to the staff regarding recommended adjustments.Conducted extensive research involving the study of Faraday's Law on the possible trivalent chromium replacement of hexavalent chromium to benefit the environment and reduce the cost of chemicals to the company. Established new analysis procedures to test zinc plater chemicals against the standard values and trained floor personnel to conduct the new procedures which resulted in improved quality.
